The planning board voted against a 9-year-old plan to build a Wal-Mart store on the outskirts of Kent County, Maryland.

After a 9 year fight, The Kent County planning board voted last night against a plan to build a 107,000 square foot Wal-Mart store on the outskirts of Chestertown, a small historic town on Maryland's Eastern Shore.
