How Mobile Apps Will Change Your City

Gigaom looks at a handful of "augmented reality" apps, both current and projected, that create an interface between the internet and the world around us.
Augmented reality pairs the camera on your mobile device with your GPS locator to seamlessly integrate with geotagged information like restaurant reviews, driving directions, sightseeing and more. Games are the next frontier: upcoming games put characters into the scene right in front of you.
