Metropolis 2020: Healthy Businesses And Affordable Housing

Chicago area businesses rally to put jobs within access of public transit and affordable housing.
"At last count, 103 companies have rallied around a call to put more jobs within easy access of affordable housing and public transit...Metropolis 2020 leaders say that when people can't afford to live near work, it hampers productivity...Companies signing the Metropolis Principles promise in their site decisions to give 'substantial weight to whether a community has zoning, building and land-use policies' that encourage affordable housing. They also pledge to examine a community's mass-transit service."
