Why Smart Growth Is Important For Kentucky

Kentucky has formed a 35-member Smart Growth Task Force to help plan growth in the state.
"...Gov. Paul Patton last week appointed a 35-member Smart Growth Task Force to initiate a statewide plan for planning. That includes reviewing existing planning laws, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and developing a state planning network with goals for the future."
