GOOD Magazine highlights designer Michael McDaniel's Reaction Housing System, a temporary shelter that can be stacked up and loaded onto a flatbed 20 at a time.

Water and electricity connections

Interesting, I still have a page of LA Times publication, after Katrina, where the journalist said the main problem for all the units FEMA left EMPTY was that there was no electrical and water connections. The aerial picture of FEMA trailers looks like a city of dead.
