We’re seeking planners with 5 to 15+ years of experience for mid to senior positions in our national city and regional planning practice. Ideally will have private sector experience in preparing comprehensive/land use plans and implementing ordinances for governmental jurisdictions (counties, cities, towns, etc.). Parks and open space planning, transportation planning, and/or NEPA compliance a plus.

Will serve as project planner– specific roles include research and analysis; participation in public, client, and other project meetings; report writing; preparation of maps and other graphics, etc. Manage projects. Work on promotions, practice-building, and business development initiatives

Qualifications
• 5 to 15+ years of planner experience working on comprehensive plans, area plans, land development ordinances, and similar; private sector experience strongly desired
• Master’s or bachelor’s in urban planning or related field required
• AICP certification preferred
• Experience in transportation planning, economic development, and/or urban design a plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to be a “team player”
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficiency with software such as ArcView GIS, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Adobe/InDesign, website design, use of technology/social media for public outreach, etc.
