CNU’s 2009 Portland Transportation Summit: Early Registration Ends this Thursday Oct. 22!

CNU’s annual Transportation Summit November 4-6, 2009, in Portland OR., is a three-day event that combines presentations, tours and a working meeting aimed at reforming transportation practices and regulations. Early Registration ends October 22, 2009!

Take advantage of this year’s bike, rail, and streetcar tours through the beautiful city of Portland OR. and witness the effectiveness of Portland’s multi-modal transit and pedestrian networks, land use strategies, and emergency response systems. Summit participants will hear from leading transportation reformers including Todd Litman of the Victoria Policy Transport Institute, Metro Councilors Robert Liberty and David Bragdon, CNU Board members Scott Polikov and Jacky Grimshaw. Don’t miss Oregon’s Congressman Earl Blumenauer as he discusses how Portland has successfully implemented transportation reforms.
