A bus strike in West Vancouver, Canada, is being blamed for an increase in crime; crooks use public transit for transportation to and from crime scenes.

"The Lower Mainland transit strike has caused a mini crime wave in West Vancouver, with crooks and intravenous drug users hopping Blue Buses -- the only public transit still on the road -- to commit break-and-enters in the region's wealthiest municipality, police say."
