City Loses Rights To Its Domain Name

An International court rules that an Australian city doesn't own the trademark rights to it's name.

"Australia's city of Brisbane has been told that it has no more rights to an Internet domain name bearing its name than does the current owner of that domain name, a Queensland man whose stable of Internet addresses reflect numerous Australian place names. "
