critical slopes

I am a member of the dread species, "planning commissioner." Posting in this forum for the first time in hopes that planning professionals can direct me toward code regarding critical slopes.

Hope to find beautiful, short, well written code to study to as a guide for improving our municipal code on this subject.
When we replace green infrastructure with bricks and mortar, how can we quantify the value of what is lost?

Sorry this response is so late......and I'm not sure I have a great answer for you but ELI probably has what you are looking for. I also don't know how to post a link - I'll try my best.

The Environmental Law Institute (ELI) has awesome publications, books, and sample ordinances.

I think this book on their web site has some info on critical slopes:

Look through their other book/publications as well as I know they have books with sample ordinances in them.
