Prague's Temporary Beach Offers A View of the City

Prague's temporary riverfront beach gives locals a summer destination and a view on the city's iconic architecture.
For the past five years, officials in Prague have been creating a temporary beach on the Vltava River, similar to a program Paris has along the Seine.
"Smichov Beach on the Vltava River is notable not just because Prague isn’t exactly famous for its beaches, but because of its proximity to so many architectural gems."
