17 July 2009 - 12:00pm
Vancouver is hoping to build the greenest Olympic Village yet as it prepares to host the 2010 Winter games. But there are some challenges facing the ambitious plans.

As the largest city ever to host the Winter Games, Vancouver intends to make sustainability central to its Olympic legacy."

Most planning education providers are self-supporting and operate literally hand-to-mouth from course revenues. Because planners are not as wealthy as lawyers or doctors, we have to keep our costs down which makes our margins thin.
