US-Arab Annual Cities Forum Next Week

Next week, the Greater Amman Municipality will host activities of the 2nd US-Arab Forum, which will last from June 22 to June 24.

From June 22 to June 24, several mayors from Arab cities will attend the 3-day event of the US-Arab Cities Forum to discuss urban planning in the region. Chicago Mayor Omar Maani will deliver a speech at the opening session.

"This year’s forum will focus on several major issues including good governance in city management, youth programmes, urban planning, public transportation and the role of local governments in economic development and investment."
