Houston's Largest Planned Community
1 May 2001 - 12:00pm
A new master-planned community north of Houston will cover 8,000 acres and include 20,000 single-family homes.
"A local development group has acquired 8,000 acres of land in far northwest Harris County for what is expected to become a large master-planned community. The deal represents one of the largest land sales ever in Harris County... If the project is built as planned, it would rank in a league with First Colony, Clear Lake City and Sienna Plantation as one of the largest master-planned communities in the Houston area."

It's all too easy for projects to claim that they will be successful places, and all too hard to tell ahead of time which ones actually will.
