When Urban Planners Were 'Power Players'

Archeologists have identified the oldest city in the Americas.

The ancient Peruvian site of Caral may have been one of the first urban centers in the Americas, thriving more than a thousand years before other known cities, according to a study in the April 27 issue of the international journal 'Science'...Given the scale of architectural and agricultural development...early urban planners were 'power players'."
