Australian Planning Schools

I am an American looking to enter a program for a Master in Urban and Regional Planning in Australia. I have been accepted into two programs (University of Sydney and UNSW).

Upon graduation, I would ideally like to return to the United States and work as a planner. The programs seem similar amongst US and Australian Universities; thus, I am curious to know:

- Is an Australian Planning degree highly regarded in the US?
- How is the Australia graduate degree perceived in the United States?
- Would it be worth my time and effort, or should I concentrate on entering a US institution?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Maybe we should blame Thomas Jefferson. He was the godfather of the urban sprawl racket in America.
