New Redistricting Software

New and affordable, yet powerful software is making it possible for citizens to offer alternative redistricting plans.
"Now, the powerful and relatively affordable new software is allowing more people to offer alternative plans. Some of the new software comes with demographic data already keyed in, allowing users to easily outline new districts by layering statistics on race, population and local voting patterns." While the software makes it easier, the underlying process must still be legal.
