Innovative non-transportation infrastructure

Hello-

I’m doing some research into innovative non-transportation infrastructure projects. Specifically I am looking for information on infrastructure projects that are forward thinking and break away from the traditional run of the mill stuff. These would include projects in the ‘sustainable’ infrastructure category that work with the environment, create energy efficiency, promote capacity, and are transformative in nature. I want to go beyond pipes and pavement (though the purple pipe is pretty cool). I would any suggestions on where I could find some of this information.
