Learn form based codes, visualization techniques, cost-effective cultural development, and new urbanism

The Bloustein Online Continuing Education Program (BOCEP) offers convenient and cost-effective ways to build skills and knowledge. We are offering several courses and webinars from April to June. All of them have been approved or will be submitted for AICP CM credit.

Upcoming webinars – which we call Learning Labs – include “Leadership Lessons for Urban Planners from Olmsted, Moses and Jacobs” and “Visualization Techniques for Community Participation.” Learning Labs are interactive webinars of one hour to 90 minutes. You can participate from almost any computer with an Internet connection, as well as by phone.

There are several BOCEP courses beginning in late April and May:

*Form-based Codes Studio, April 29 to June 6
*Affordable Housing Strategies, May 27 to July 3
*Environmental Planning Law, May 27 to July 3
*Introduction to New Urbanism, May 27 to July 3
*Long Range Planning, May 27 to July 3
*Project Management for Urban Planning, May 27 to July 3

BOCEP classes are designed for the busy professional who wants high-quality education. There are no required meetings. You can participate from virtually any computer with an Internet connection. Professionals share ideas and solve problems through online discussions that are led and facilitated by seasoned practitioners.

Most BOCEP learners are mid- and senior-level professionals. Many of them have never taken an online class before, and most say in their course evaluations that they learned a lot and got useful knowledge for their work or career.
