An innovative new housing project co-exists with an archaeological dig.
"Indian Camp is billed as America's first archaeological subdivision, 1,200 acres a few miles northwest of town with the highest recorded density of ancient Indian sites in the state." Landowners have the right to dig, but they must follow specific rules.
