Public Officials Of The Year Competition
17 April 2001 - 8:00am
Governing Magazine is accepting nominations for it's annual Public Officials of the Year award.
At the end of every year, Governing honors a group of outstanding state and local government officials as the magazine's Public Officials of the Year. Ten of the top leaders working in government were chosen as our winners for 2000. Top-level elected, appointed and career officials from any branch of state or local government are eligible for this prestigious award. This year's winners are profiled in the November issue -- and on the Governing.com website. The deadline is June 15, 2001.
