Downtown Blooms In A Detroit Suburb

Fenton, once a commuter's destination, is blooming as its own urban center.
"This venerable town spent much of the 20th Century in Flint's suburban orbit as a haven for commuters to the automotive hub.That's changed. As metro Detroit's sprawl nudges north, the small towns and sprawling townships of southern Genesee County are being transformed by new subdivisions, shopping strips and residents who commute south, not to Flint."
