Environmental group American Rivers has released a list of the most endangered rivers in the U.S.
"The Missouri River, the river that carried 19th-century explorers Meriwether Lewis and William Clark on their journey to explore the American West is in grave danger, according to the environmental group American Rivers... The group advocates a revised dam plan for the Missouri that would enable the dams to recreate seasonal rise and fall of the river."
