The Innovation Works, Inc., founded in 1999, provides corporate communications, marketing and advertising services.

Robert Matson, the principal, has over 20 years professional experience as a business writer and a developer of effective communications strategies. Working in teams with other creative professionals as jobs require, the firm handles projects in graphic design, technical writing, illustration, strategic planning, speech/script writing, video production, presentation design, advertising and most other projects within the category of marketing and technical communications.

The firm handles website development and video projects in collaboration with outside IT professionals, usually of the client's choosing and according to locale, but we have our own relationships available should clients require.

The firm is based in New York City and has its roots in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where Matson attended the University of Michigan. The firm's capabilities are boosted by its access to New York's vast resources, talent, energy and international reach. However, this is complimented and tempered by a very strong "Midwestern-style" customer service commitment where long-term work relationships are the rule.

Currently, in order to grow its practice, The Innovation Works(R) specifically seeks new customers in Oregon, Washington, New York and Denmark in the field of transportation planning and may be willing to negotiate particularly favorable terms to gain clients in these domains.
