Building Smart, Building Green

Several new projects in Minnesota are using energy-efficient building practices to develop sustainable buildings and neighborhoods.
"Building green also means thoughtful neighborhood design, such as locating on mass transportation routes, or having pedestrian and bicycle pathways. And it means smart home design: building smaller, taking advantage of natural light and making the home energy efficient."
