The Western U.S. is the nation's fastest growing region. Experts explain the reasons for the growth and why the region should continue to grow.
"For the fourth straight decade, the West ranked as the fastestgrowing region of the United States. U.S. Census Bureau figures released Monday also show the West held seven of the 10 fastest growing cities in the 1990s and the five fastest-growing states."
