Preserving Historic Landscapes

Important landscape architects are beginning to gain recognition as initiatives strive to preserve historical landscape.

"Historic architecture is well understood, but the designed landscape is viewed by many simply as open space...The meadow where a museum or zoo wants to build a visitor center may well be the work of a design luminary... historically important landscape architects are beginning to get the same recognition that architects have enjoyed for years."
