New San Francisco Parks Key to Neighborhood Vibrancy
Two new parks in San Francisco show how great neighborhoods are defined by their public spaces, according to this article from the San Francisco Chronicle.
"At the very least, good neighborhood parks offer places to play and places to loaf, grass in the sun and benches in the shade."
"Two young parks in San Francisco up the ante: They're catalysts that make the neighborhoods around them come alive."
"Different as the settings might be, both Victoria Manalo Draves Park and the west end of what's called Mission Creek Park are a success. They're also a reminder that neighborhoods aren't defined by architectural landmarks so much as by the spaces that people share."
