Detroit's New Technology Tool For Developers

Detroit has developed a property inventory computer system which tracks the city's inventory of abandoned buildings and lots.
Detroit "has created a computerized property information system that does in seconds what used to take weeks or months -- tracking pieces of real estate. With the new setup, searching for city-owned real estate -- from a home in a historic district to a funeral parlor or an empty factory -- will now be far easier.
