Houston Group Fails To Put Diversity On The Map

A map prepared by Houston's biggest economic development organization omits minority neighborhoods.
Some of Houston's oldest and poorest neighborhoods have vanished, if you believe a map posted by the city's biggest economic development organization. The disappearance was in evidence Thursday on the Internet, in the "neighborhoods and communities" map that comes with the newcomer's guide on the Greater Houston Partnership's Web site (www.houston.org)."
