Sprawl Vs. Development

The land between San Francisco and Sacramento in California has become too valuable for crops. Farmers are crying "Sprawl!".
"The federal government acknowledges it overestimated how much farm land was developed during the mid-1990s. But even after the numbers were corrected, sprawl opponents say the revised figures still represent a persistent threat to agriculture, wildlife habitat and scenery."
