The National Planning Awards represent the most outstanding accomplishments by planners, individuals and organizations.

We invite you to participate in the celebration of the best in planning by nominating projects and people you believe deserve recognition. Application forms are available on our website at www.planning.org/abtapa/awrdindx.htm or from the Public Affairs Office at 202.872.0611 or
AwardsProgram@planning.org. In addition to our annual National Planning Awards categories, this year's Current Topic Award - Planning for Heritage Areas and Sustainable Tourism - seeks to honor plans that incorporate the value and importance of cultural, historic and natural
resources within a community plan or on a regional basis. Let your nomination help us shine a light on the most exciting successes, innovations and contributions to today's planning efforts.
