Houston's Main Street Redevelopment Plan

Houston leaders have unveiled a a $200 million Main Street redevelopment project tied to the city's light rail plan.
"The 20-year strategic plan envisions an eight-mile-long corridor -- linked by common design elements and public spaces where people can walk and mingle -- from Quitman on the near northside to the South Loop near Reliant Park."
