Go for a ride with Los Angeles' leading pedestrian activist and learn about some of the challenges in bringing change to the Car Culture Capital of America.
Despite the having perfect weather for pedestrians about 360 days a year, Los Angeles isn't exactly known for being a haven for pedestrians. In this film, Street Films' Nicholas Whitaker interviews one of L.A.'s top pedestrian advocates from the backseat of her car while cruising Hollywood on a Friday evening during rush hour. The car part was the filmmaker's idea...who says advocates don't have a sense of humor?
