Seattle's Ambitious Transportation Proposal

Seattle Mayor Paul Schell unveiled a $9 million initiative with new ideas to improve the city's traffic.
"Schell proposes a number of safety improvements such as installingbigger, brighter stop signs, more school crosswalk signs and surveillance cameras in some intersections to catch people running red lights. Schell said the city will also examine starting a shuttle service betweenneighborhoods as an alternative to driving."
