The parking planner is NCSU Transportation’s representative to the university construction program and assures transportation related issues are addressed and that projects conform to applicable federal (especially ADA), state, and NCSU university design standards and policies for parking and transportation. Responsible for university construction coordination, parking space inventory and planning, information management and dissemination, bicycle parking, and traffic information.
Requires: graduation from a four-year college or university with a major in institutional planning, public administration, business administration, industrial technology or a related field, and a minimum of two years of facility and space planning; or an equivalent combination of training and directly related experience.
