Spokane County seeks a dynamic, visionary leader with exceptional management skills to direct the operations of the Community Development Department, including the planning, building, code enforcement and economic development activities. Appointed position, serving at the pleasure of the Board of County Commissioners. Requires a Bachelor’s degree with major coursework in business management, public administration or related AND 5 years experience in a management or administrative capacity directing the design and implementation of a community development services or comparable large public or private organizational program. MBA or MPA preferred. $6053- $8168/month + exc bene; open until filled- 1st review date: 4/7/08.
