A Question On Process from Sarasota, FL

I can't find out much about the details of the process intended for our Terrace Gardens Neighborhood, but I hear that the developer is inviting folks fr and wide to help him "fight" the interests that "would deny me (him) a fair profit."

If there is no way to distinguish between immediate and distant "neighbors'" comments, and apparent consensus might appear not withstanding support for another solution by those most impacted.

How does one account for this in the process?

People need to stop thinking about cities as bundles of technical problems that the planners must solve for them and to start thinking about the different ways that they would live in different types of cities.
