Designing my own Curriculum

If anyone has any information, advice, comments, and/or suggestions to help me in designing my own curriculum for my concentration for a Bachelors in CUNY schools. What are some things I should incorporate and/or focus on things of that sort it would be very helpful. My career goal is to become an urban and regional planner.
