Snellville, Georgia, may be an example of how not to grow.
"Known for strip malls, traffic congestion and unplanned retail growth along U.S. Highway 78, Snellville knows it needs to find an identity beyond Wal-Mart and fast-food chains. Meanwhile, Athens residents and planners struggle to prevent a similar fate by creating rules to control growth and determine what the town will look like in the future."
