"Existing median condo prices in Miami increased 2 percent, to $275,000 from $270,000, though sales dropped 47 percent, to 355 from 666. In Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach/Boca Raton, sales dropped 39 percent and 29 percent, respectively. In Fort Lauderdale, 397 condos were sold, down from 647 a year ago, for a median price of $174,600, down 15 percent from $205,800. In West Palm Beach-Boca Raton, 360 condos sold, down from 504 a year ago, for an average price of $180,000, down 18 percent from $220,500."
