Michael Markels has a controversial solution for global warming.
Environmental engineer Michael Markels has a controversial solution for global warming -- "to actively tip the balance of the global CO2 cycle ". The U.S. Department of Energy is considering his proposal to fund a "technology demonstration experiment." His detractors say "although Markels' plan sounds seductively simple - pour iron in the ocean, sink the algae, walk away - it isn't.'"
