After Brief Pause, Naked Time Will Resume

Despite thousands of signatures in its support, a proposed law that would have banned public nudity in the city of Brattleboro, Vermont, was voted down recently. A temporary ban will end next month.
"In Brattleboro, Vt., the town council voted 3-2 to allow public nudity to remain legal there. This lifts a temporary ban on public nudity in the town instituted in July."
The state of Vermont has no law prohibiting public nudity. Many towns have set their own local laws, but Brattleboro has voted down the ordinance that would have created a similar law in the town.
