Boston Activists Organize For Better Transit Service

Activists, politicians, environmentalists, and students organize to form the Transit Riders Union in the home of the country's first subway system.
"Made up of about 100 individuals, the group has vowed to fight for non-polluting vehicles, more bus shelters, better and more frequent service, extended hours, and the construction of faster, safer transportation modes in minority communities."
