Education Week summarizes state level scores on educational progress. How does your state rank?
You can find a state's scores for grades 4 and 8 with an easy-to-use map. You can also generate tables of state results to esily compare multiple state scores. The most dramatic improvement has been for Connecticut: "Connecticut's 4th graders gained so much ground they became the first NAEP testing group to form their own statistical league at the top of the heap, according to the federal Education Department."
