Family Transportation Bill Is No Small Potatoes

"It costs more to feed your car than your family."
New study finds that transportation costs take a huge bite out of the family budget. Households in metropolitan areas with dense development and good public transportation spend less than areas with sprawl. 18 percent of the household budget of Philadelphia residents goes to transportation costs.
