Seattle's Homeless Tent City

Seattle has vowed to close Tent City; residents say they won't leave.
Seattle city officials say that tent cities are not a solution to the homeless problem. Residents of Seattle's tent city say they are just trying to survive. Tent city residents have established a strict code of conduct that prevents drug use. The City plans to close down the City by January 16, 2001. Residents say that they won't leave, and if forced out, they will return.
