Regional Summit on Traffic Congestion, Land Use
28 November 2000 - 11:00am
Official from Franklin County as well as surrounding counties will meet to discuss regional growth, traffic congestion and land use problems.
"Franklin County has almost as many cars, trucks and motorcycles as it has men, women and children, a fact that has Columbus Mayor Michael B. Coleman and 11 suburban mayors worried about traffic congestion. They announced plans yesterday for a regional summit on growth and congestion. The meeting, set for Jan. 30 at Ohio State University's Fawcett Center, also will include officials from Franklin and surrounding counties."
