A look at the changing face of the hotel industry in Orange County, its economic implications, and a discussion of some of the major developments in the region.
"Disneyland's decisions in the past three years to expand its resort to three parks in the Anaheim area and to upgrade its existing hotels changed the face of the Anaheim-area hotel industry. Elsewhere in the county, hotels have been redefining themselves by becoming golfing or beach destinations - a move that has forced hotels in Anaheim to grow bigger and offer more amenities."
