Arizona Growth Control Measures Defeated

Arizona voters defeated two growth control measures on the ballot. Many citizens say what is needed is a compromise measure.
Two attempts to limit growth, Proposition 100 and 202, both failed in Arizona, but new efforts are possible.Some citizens say they would like to see a compromise measure to control building. At issue are some 800,000 acres of developable land in the West Valley area.
